I wasn't going to let Ally play soccer this year because she is now on a competition dance team and has dance twice a week. She also has piano and activity days so I thought soccer would just be too much. My neighbor (love ya Erin) talked me into having her play so she could be on a team with her two daughters. Ally LOVES to dance but really wanted to play soccer this year so I caved and signed her up. She's played in two games so far this year. Here she is with her friend Olivia before their first game.
She played well her first game but really enjoyed being on the sidelines chit-chatting with her coach.
It's a good thing she has a really good and patient coach ;). We were out of town for their second game and then had a bye on picture day. I paid for pictures but decided to snap a quick picture of her team.
Her game last week she enjoyed doing cartwheels and spinning on the field. The second half she played goalie and did pretty well at it. She's following in her brother's footsteps.
It's so different watching her age group play, especially since it's city soccer as opposed to Andrew play at his age and play competitive soccer. She is really enjoying it and I love watching her play! It's been a really fun season so far.
