Pool Play
The kids and I went and played at Grandpa and Grandma Davis' house while Jim was in Vancouver. They loved playing in the pool, which made me happy 'cause last year Ally would stand in the water and cry or jump out of the pool as quick as possible. I can't wait until it is warm enough here for us to go to the 'big' pool.

Jazz Fan
Jim got to go to the Jazz playoff game on Friday night. They gave out shirts at the game, which Jim being the great dad he is, brought home to Andrew. Andrew was so excited. Today, after I picked Andrew up from school, he asked me if he could wear his Jazz shirt. I told him yes, but, since the shirt is an adult XL, it would be way too big for him. He insisted on wearing it. Here's how cute he looks...

Spring Break
Okay, so I figure it's time to add our Spring Break fun if I'm going to include it. The kids and I had a lot of fun. With my work schedule and Andrew's school schedule, we are constantly rushing back to Spanish Fork so I decided we would do some fun 'North' stuff. We went to the Dinosaur Museum at Thanksgiving Point, which was quite fun. None of us had been there before so it was all new to us. The kids enjoyed all the sites and activities, but their favorite had to be the sand at the end.

The next day we went and met Jim for lunch. This was a first since he is working in South Jordan. It was nice spending time with Dad during the work day. We then met our friends the Lewis' at the farm part of Thanksgiving Point. The kids had fun feeding the animals, even though a chicken got Ally's finger while going for the food. She wasn't very happy with the chicken.
Ally also rode the ponies for the first time. Every other time we've gone out there both of my kids have been afraid to get on them. She had so much fun this time she had to ride them again. Good thing I had Andrew's ticket.

On Friday we spent the afternoon at the zoo. It was the perfect day for the zoo. The weather was beautiful, not too hot, not too cold. The only bad thing was every other Mom of kids having Spring Break had the same idea. The place was packed. We even saw Jenny Briggs, one of my friends from high school, up there. The crowds really weren't all that bad until the kids wanted a snack and a 'prize' at the end of the day.

It was really nice to be able to spend time with the kids doing fun activities during Spring Break. It got me excited for summer.

Kite Day
Andrew's school had a kite activity a few Fridays ago. I got to volunteer and help the kids with their kites. It was so much fun to watch all the Kindergarten kids running and running to keep their kites in the air. They didn't realize that if they just stood still after the kite got up in the air, it would stay there. It was a lot of fun.

I Had to Laugh
So, last night Jim and were sitting and watching TV when our doorbell rang at 8:30. It was our next door neighbor saying he had borrowed a tiller and was willing to till our garden. I went out to see how the progress was going and this is what I found...

Apparently the tiller's speed controller was broken so to save our fence Jim and Eric worked together. Now, the garden is tilled and ready for plants. I really have to plant something now after all their hard work in the freezing cold.

Spring is Here!! (for one day)
It was such a beautiful day here on Wednesday my kids had to pull out their bikes and go for a ride. It was a lot of fun being out in the sun and warm again. Too bad it couldn't last.

Ally finally figured out how to use the pedals. But, she quickly realized she could go much faster and keep up with her brother and friends if she just Flinstoned it and ran with her feet.

Having Fun Blogging
The blogging world has been such a fun one for me. And, thanks to my sweet friend Kelly Cabreros, I can now cutesy up my blog (I'm sure Jim will love the love the pink and flowers on our family blog). I really enjoy keeping up to date on friends' lives by viewing their blogs and I hope you all are enjoying keeping up with the Marks' family. I only hope I can keep updating this as much as I would like to. It is a fun way to record the happenings of our family.
