For her birthday this year all Ally wanted to was to go to dinner and shopping at the mall with Mom. I was of course all for it! No party with a bunch of screaming 7 year old girls, no coming up with activities and party favors for said girls, plus I get to spend one on one time with my favorite 7 year old. Perfect!! We left Jim, Andrew and V at home and went to the mall for some retail therapy. Ally loved seeing all the cute clothes and shoes. We had a lot of fun just wandering and spending time just the two of us. She got a Gap sweatshirt, new swimsuit, flip flops, and a charm bracelet with a few charms. We went out for Mexican food and then stopped at McDonald's (to drop off some movies) and grabbed a chocolate sundae. I am so sad 'cause I lost all the pictures of this when my cell phone died.
Official Birthday
She woke up to
(thank you Pinterest)
which she loved.
So did V.
Andrew was so sweet and gave her a card and present he came up with all on his own. He gave her some of his chapter books that she enjoys reading and $2 of his own money. He is such a thoughtful brother. She loved his present!
Grandpa and Grandma Davis came over that night for dinner, Ally's favorite, Hawaiian haystacks,
cake,
and of course presents
It was a fantastic day for an amazing girl! We are so blessed and grateful we have our princess Ally in our family. She is such a sweetheart with a gigantic heart. She makes friends everywhere we go. She is always willing to help in any way she can. We love her so much! Happy birthday Ally!
